April 23, 2025 – Shanghai, China – During the Global EASE DAY, SOUEAST shared a bold new vision for the future of urban life, revealing its updated multi-energy power strategy and hybrid innovation. Framed around the brand's philosophy of "Ease Your Life," the announcement demonstrated how advanced technology supports SOUEAST’s mission to enable more youth around the world to experience EASE urban mobility.
From Blueprint to Reality
SOUEAST’s technical team introduced its new urban user-oriented power blueprint built on a comprehensive four-energy layout: high-efficiency Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Hybrid (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and Fully Electric (EV) solutions. These are developed through the Group’s shared platform architecture to meet diverse global market demands.
By 2027, SOUEAST confirmed that its entire product lineup will be covered by this four-energy strategy. Models such as S09, S07, S06, and the hybrid S06 DM have already been launched and recognized for strong power performance.
Super Hybrid at the Core: Intelligent Power Performance
At the heart of SOUEAST’s innovation is its Super Hybrid Technology, integrating a 1.5TD high-efficiency hybrid engine, a 150kW P3 electric motor, and a 19.4kWh battery. The intelligent series-parallel hybrid system supports five drive modes including EV-only, hybrid drive, engine charging, and regenerative braking.
The system delivers 310 N·m peak torque, 0–100 km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds, 114 km pure electric range (NEDC), and over 1,000 km combined driving range.
With 44.5% thermal efficiency and 98% peak mechanical efficiency, this technology sets a new benchmark in hybrid performance.
Global Solutions, Locally Tuned
SOUEAST’s multi-energy layout is built around localization. In the Middle East, hybrid systems focus on performance and environmental balance. In Latin America, solutions address fuel cost challenges. In Central Asia, hybrid and EV systems expand mobility options.
All systems undergo regional testing including high-temperature, low-temperature, and high-altitude validation. Fuel adaptability includes compatibility with 85-octane fuel and E27 standards.
